Natalie & Summer June 2017
|
Steel Mace Vinyasa is a powerful blend of ancient tools, modern strength training, and mindful movement. It was developed by Summer Huntington, founder of Kinesiologyoga and a leader in the world of loaded movement training.
With a master’s degree in Kinesiology and over 50,000 hours of teaching experience, Summer created the first comprehensive loaded asana conditioning program using clubs. Her approach integrates biomechanics, circular strength, and mobility into a fluid, intelligent practice that challenges the body while supporting the nervous system. She’s also a longtime student of Scott Sonnon, the creator of Circular Strength Training (CST), and has refined his teachings into a method that’s both playful and highly functional. I’ve been training with Summer since 2017—first through Clubbell Yoga, and now through Steel Mace Vinyasa. Her mentorship has had a huge impact on how I teach and move, and I continue to integrate this system into my private coaching and workshops. Steel Mace Vinyasa isn’t just about building strength—it’s about moving with intention, regulating your nervous system, and reconnecting to your power in a completely new way. If you’re curious about this style and how it can help you build mobility, resilience, and skill—especially in midlife—I’d love to introduce you to it. |
