"Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured."

- BKS Iyengar

Yoga Therapy

Is your daily life being negatively impacted by an illness or injury? Does depression, anxiety or other mental health issues interfere with your daily activities? If so, consider Yoga Therapy.
Yoga Therapy is a holistic method of healing used to bring health and wellness into one's life.
Yoga, is now regarded in the Western world as a holistic approach to health.
It has been shown to not only reduce stress, and stress related illnesses, but actually make significant changes in the brains of people suffering with depression, chronic pain, anxiety and trauma.

The process empowers the student to participate in their own healing process.
The goal of a Yoga Therapist is to facilitate the healing process by managing and alleviating the symptoms of suffering and to positively enhance the quality of life for the individual.
The student works with the therapist to establish their short and long term goals.
This application of yoga is most beneficial to the practitioner, especially for those who are suffering with various illnesses and injuries, as it does not require or assume a certain age, health or fitness level.

Yoga Therapy is a complement to other systems of treatment and can be used
to support  and enhance existing therapeutic programs.
